Core vs Performance — which line fits?

Core VPS

Best value for everyday workloads

  • Multi-generation CPU hardware, KVM virtualized
  • SSD storage from 100 GB to 600 GB
  • Port speeds 200 Mbit/s – 1 Gbit/s
  • 1–3 snapshots included per plan
  • WordPress, CMS, email, dev/staging, small SaaS
Performance VPS

AMD EPYC for demanding production

  • AMD EPYC processors — no CPU throttling under load
  • PCIe Gen 4 NVMe, 150 GB – 900 GB (up to 1.8 TB w/ extension)
  • 500 Mbit/s – 1 Gbit/s ports, 5 snapshots on every plan
  • MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, CI/CD runners, API backends
  • AI-ready CPU workloads (orchestration, embeddings — no GPU)
Operating systems

OS images & custom installs

One-click templates for every major Linux distribution. Mount your own ISO or upload a .qcow2 custom image via the control panel or API.

Security

Always-on protection, zero extra cost

DDoS mitigation

Multi-layer always-on DDoS protection at the network edge. Volumetric and application-layer attacks are scrubbed before traffic reaches your instance.

Configurable firewall

Stateful firewall in the control panel. Define inbound/outbound rules by port, protocol, and source IP. Enabled by default with sensible baselines.

SSH key authentication

Upload SSH public keys to your account and inject them at provision time. Disable password login for hardened production setups.

Physical & compliance posture

Servers run in ISO 27001-aligned facilities with CCTV, biometric access control, and 24/7 on-site staff. Network segmentation isolates customer traffic. We do not access your instance data unless you explicitly request support intervention.

  • Datacenter physical security with access logs
  • Encrypted management plane (TLS 1.2+)

Snapshots, backups & storage extension

Snapshots

Capture point-in-time disk state and roll back in seconds. Core VPS: 1–3 snapshots. Performance VPS: 5 snapshots on every plan.

Auto backup add-on

Daily off-server automated backups. Recoverable copies stored separately from your instance — protect against accidental deletes and bad deploys.

Storage extension

Double your base disk capacity on any plan (e.g. Core VPS 3XL: 600 GB → 1.2 TB). Ideal for backup archives and media storage.

DevOps

API, CLI & automation

Provision, resize, snapshot, and reinstall via REST API or CLI. Terraform-compatible. Full OpenAPI spec at /docs/api.

REST API

Create, destroy, resize, and snapshot instances. Webhooks for deploy events and threshold alerts.

cloud-init / cloudbase-init

Automate package installs, user creation, and config on first boot. Pass user-data at provision time.

Custom images

Upload .iso or .qcow2 and deploy your golden image across regions in minutes.

VPS technical FAQ

What hardware does Core VPS use?

Core VPS runs on proven multi-generation server hardware across our datacenters, virtualized with KVM. CPU generations are selected for workloads where RAM and network throughput matter more than single-thread clock speed — web hosting, CMS, email, and dev environments.

What CPU and storage does Performance VPS use?

Performance VPS uses latest-generation AMD EPYC processors with PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSDs. Storage ranges from 150 GB to 900 GB standard, expandable to 1.8 TB with the Storage Extension add-on. Network ports run 500 Mbit/s to 1 Gbit/s.

How fast is provisioning?

Standard configurations deploy in under 30 seconds after payment clears. You'll receive root credentials by email; access via SSH (Linux) or RDP (Windows). Custom images may take a few minutes depending on size.

Can I upgrade between Core and Performance VPS?

You can scale resources in-place on the same product line from the control panel. Moving from Core to Performance is a one-time migration — we snapshot your disk and reprovision on EPYC hardware with minimal downtime.

Is traffic really unlimited?

Inbound traffic is unlimited and unmetered. Outbound traffic is unlimited subject to a fair-use policy aligned with typical server workloads. Exceptionally high or disruptive usage may be throttled to protect network performance for all customers.

Do I get dedicated IP addresses?

Every VPS includes one dedicated IPv4 address and a /64 IPv6 block at no extra cost. Additional IPs can be purchased and assigned from the control panel.

Which hypervisor do you use?

KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) on Linux hosts. Full hardware virtualization — you can run custom kernels and mount ISOs for any OS that supports KVM.

What is the snapshot retention policy?

Snapshots persist until you delete them or exceed your plan's snapshot slot limit. Auto Backup (add-on) retains daily copies for 10 days by default, configurable up to 30 days.
